The Silagen Silicone Breast Kit provides comprehensive scar care following breast procedures. Each kit includes two clear areola circles and two clear anchor shapes designed to cover areola, vertical and inframammary incision patterns.
Begin using Silagen only after the incisions have completely healed or sutures have been removed. Clean and thoroughly dry the skin before applying each piece adhesive-side down. The skin should be free from creams, lotions, ointments and perfumes.
Silagen recommends wearing the silicone pieces for 10 to 16 hours daily and removing them at least once every 12 hours to inspect, clean and dry the skin. Wash the silicone every two to three days with mild hand soap and water, then allow it to air-dry before reapplying. Each piece may last three to four weeks with gentle handling.
