IPL (Brown & Red Spots)

from $150.00

Intense Pulsed Light, commonly called IPL, is a noninvasive light-based treatment designed to improve visible pigmentation and vascular redness. Pulses of light target unwanted pigment and visible blood vessels beneath the skin while leaving the surrounding tissue intact.

IPL may help improve the appearance of:

  • Brown spots and sun damage

  • Uneven pigmentation

  • Facial redness and flushing

  • Broken capillaries and visible vessels

  • Uneven overall skin tone

Following treatment, the skin may feel warm or appear temporarily red. Brown spots may initially darken before gradually flaking or fading. Treatment response and recovery vary by individual. A series of treatments may be recommended based on your skin concerns and goals. UT Southwestern Medical Center

IPL is not appropriate for every skin type or condition. Your provider will evaluate your skin, medical history, medications, and recent sun exposure before treatment. New, changing, or suspicious spots should be medically evaluated before cosmetic treatment. Individual results may vary.
